Some interesting facts about the Bible:

The bible can be read aloud in approximately seventy hours.

According to statistics from Wycliffe International, the Society of Gideons, and the International Bible Society, the number of new Bibles that are sold, given away, or otherwise distributed in the United States is about 168,000 per day.

The two Testaments form two volumes of one work. The first is incomplete without the second and second cannot be understood without the first. Together they are Gods revelation to man of the provision He had made for human salvation.

The Bible, in whole or in part, is now available in more than 1100 different languages and dialects.

The Bible, the world's best-selling book, is also the world's most shoplifted book.

Think of it like a movie:

The Old Testament, or The Tanakh or the Hebrew Bible, is the first movie. The New Testament is the sequel.

What about the Quran, you ask.

The Quran retcons both like they never happened, but it keeps Jesus, only not as a central figure nor as the Messiah.

The Jews like the first movie, but ignore the sequels. Christians believe that the first two need to be watched, but not the third one. Muslims believe that the third one was is the best. And Mormons loved the second one so much, they began writing fan fiction that does not fit with any of the series’ canon.
