In addition to our monthly and weekly services, bible studies and other events, First Church also hosts/sponsors many annual special events, some of which have become well-known and anticipated events in the Richmond/Wayne County area. Below is a list of some of those events.

Chicken Bar-B-Que Each year towards the beginning of the Summer First Church hosts an event that produces a wonderful scented breeze over the 300 block of West National Road with the Chicken Bar-B-Que. People from all over the county are invited to enjoy our wonderful chicken dinners with all proceeds going to a mission that the church decides upon. Date: xx/xx/xxxx

Vacation Bible School Without little ones in the kingdom of God, there would be no future for the church. Each year First Church hosts a VBS program for children from all over the area. Live Nativity The Christmas story is something that most have been told since they were little Children, but have you ever seen it told with real people? Each year, usually the week before Christmas, The people of First Church become the Christmas story as they dress in period costumes and experience a wonderful time of silent worship as they consider the events of that important night.
